Sailing
on l'île d'yeu

There’s a whole range of different sailing trips that you enjoy along the Atlantic coast from the port of Île d’Yeu:

• Half-way point between La Rochelle (66 miles, around 12 hours of sailing) and Belle-Île (52 miles),
• Sail to other ports in the Vendée: Les Sables d’Olonnes (27 miles), l’Herbaudière (21 miles), Saint-Gilles (16 miles),
• Head south towards Hendaye (204 miles) or north to La Trinité (54 miles)
• Or just circumnavigate the island (18 miles or around 3 hours by sailing boat)
