Located on the north-east coast of the Île d’Yeu, Port-Joinville is your first port of call on the island. It is also the island’s most vibrant spot with its shops, bars and restaurants.

The town is not just easy on the eye - it’s also perfect for sailing:

  • A marina at the centre of the old fishing port,
  • with a capacity of 658 berths (including 233 reserved for visiting vessels),
  • equipped with pontoons
  • and accessible at all times.

Port-Joinville accommodates monohulls and multihulls, sailing boats and motor boats, and is extremely sheltered in all weather conditions. The port is an essential waypoint between Belle-Île and La Rochelle and is also visited by vessels heading to the mouth of the Loire from the south-west.
